The machine has been reinforced and is therefore suitable for tractors with 184 kW (250 pk)
Mammut is best known for its drum spreaders, but also offers a standard silage spreader with two rotors in its lineup. The design of the new model now has a more modern look. Thanks to a more robust drive system, the Silo Twist is now suitable for tractors up to 184 kW (250 pk). The machine comes standard with a wide-angle PTO. The side panels can be folded in and out independently of each other. In addition, each side panel can be extended hydraulically. Folding in/out and extending are accomplished (per side) with just one cylinder. The machine can be used with either the front or rear hitch as standard.
A single cylinder is sufficient to both fold the side panels in and out and extend them.
The machine is optionally available as a hydraulically powered version for use with a front loader or telehandler. According to Landkracht, the hydraulic tilt feature is not sold very often, but it is available as an option.
