ELIET E401 ECO LINER Scarifier
With its working width, the ELIET E401 is ideal for small and medium-sized gardens. Its robust construction makes it virtually indestructible. Like all other scarifiers, this one is also equipped with a set of ELIET Permanent Pointed Blades™. The machine is lightweight and maneuverable, and thanks to the stepless depth control, you can set the working depth with high precision.
Even though the E401 is the smallest scarifier in the ELIET lineup, it is still capable of top performance. In common applications, such as rental services, this scarifier is frequently put to the test. Its robust construction is therefore a guarantee of its durability. To ensure the operator’s safety and to protect bystanders from potential flying debris, the blade shaft is enclosed in a thick steel housing.
An ELIET scarifier with a 40 cm working width features a rotor equipped with 14 fixed blades. Each blade has two cutting points, so that with every rotation of the shaft, the blade performs a raking motion twice. The blades are also mounted in a spiral pattern so that they do not all strike the ground at the same time, thereby preventing grass clumps from being torn up.
The E401 is equipped with wheels that have a diameter of 20 cm. Larger wheels roll much more smoothly and are less affected by uneven terrain. The nylon rims are impact-resistant, and the ball bearings are also quite resistant to sand and dust released during scarifying.
The front wheels feature stepless height adjustment. Since the height must be adjusted separately on each front wheel, you can be sure that the blade shaft has the correct depth setting across the entire working width.
The rear wheels’ height adjustment offers a selection of fixed positions. Thanks to this dual adjustment system, you can wear down the blades completely.
Efficient scarifying means a lot of cleanup work. ELIET lends a helping hand with the collection bag on the E401. The wide opening ensures the bag fills up properly. With a capacity of over 60 L, this collection bag can hold the moss from an area of about 10 meters. This conveniently saves you the tedious task of cleanup.
Even when working without the collection bag, the large volume of raked-up moss must clear easily from under the chassis without exposing the operator to flying debris from the blades. The generously sized rubber splash guard effectively catches all splashing dust and sand.
Trouble-free operation year after year was the guiding principle behind the development of the vertical belt tensioning system. Thanks to this system, the belt retains its natural shape even during operation. As a result, there is virtually no wear on the belt, which significantly extends its service life.
You can easily fold down the machine’s push bar. This way, the Eliet E401 takes up very little space in your garage or storage area, or in the trunk of your car.

ELIET E401 ECO LINER Verticuteermachine
Met zijn werkbreedte is de ELIET E401 uiterst geschikt voor kleine en middelgrote tuinen. Zijn robuuste bouw maakt hem onverslijtbaar. Net als alle andere verticuteermachines, is deze ook gewapend met een stel ELIET Permanent Puntige Messen™. De machine is licht en wendbaar en dankzij de traploze diepteregeling kunt u met hoge precisie de werkdiepte instellen.
Zelfs al is deze E401 de kleinste verticuteermachine uit het ELIET programma, toch is hij in staat tot grootste prestaties. Bij veel voorkomende toepassingen zoals in verhuur wordt deze verticuteermachine dan ook vaak op de proef gesteld. Zijn robuuste bouw is dan ook een garantie voor zijn duurzaamheid. Zowel voor de veiligheid van de bediener, maar ook om omstaanders van mogelijke steenslag te behoeden, werd de messenas opgehangen in een dikke stalen behuizing.
Een ELIET verticuteermachine met 40 cm werkbreedte beschikt over een rotor waarop 14 vaste messen zijn gemonteerd. Elk mes heeft twee mespunten waardoor bij elke omwenteling van de as het mes twee maal een harkbeweging maakt. De messen zijn bovendien in spiraal gemonteerd zodat ze niet steeds gelijktijdig de grond raken, waardoor het losrukken van grasstruiken vermeden wordt.
De E401 beschikt over wielen met een diameter van 20 cm. Grote wielen lopen veel lichter en zijn minder gevoelig voor de oneffenheden van het terrein. De nylon velgen zijn stootvast, en de rollagers zijn daarenboven behoorlijk ongevoelig voor zand en stof die bij het verticuteren vrij komt.
Bij de voorwielen is de instelling traploos. Doordat de hoogteregeling op elk voorwiel afzonderlijk moet ingesteld worden, bent u ook zeker dat de messenas over de gehele werkbreedte de juiste diepte-instelling heeft.
Bij de hoogteregeling van de achterwielen kunt u kiezen uit enkele vaste standen. Dankzij deze dubbele regelmogelijkheid kunt u de messen volledig opslijten.
Wie efficiënt verticuteert, haalt zich een hoop opruimwerk op de hals. ELIET steekt een helpende hand toe met de opvangzak op de E401. De brede vangopening zorgt voor een goede vulling van de zak. De ruim 60 L inhoud van deze opvangzak kan het mos van enkele 10-tal meter opvangen. Zo spaart men handig het lastige karwei van het opruimen uit.
Ook als men zonder opvangzak werkt moet het grote volume uitgeharkte mos vlot van onder het chassis komen, zonder echter de bediener bloot te stellen aan de projectie van de messen. De goed gedimensioneerde rubber spatlap vangt dan ook alle opspattende stof en zand doeltreffend op.
Een probleemloze werking jaar na jaar was het uitgangspunt bij de ontwikkeling van de verticale riemspanning. Dankzij dit systeem behoudt de riem ook in werking haar natuurlijke vorm. Zo treed nauwelijks slijtage van de riem op, wat haar levensduur aanzienlijk verlengt.
De duwboom van de machine kunt u gemakkelijk dichtklappen. Zo neemt de Eliet E401 niet veel plaats in beslag in uw garage of bergruimte, of in het kofferruim van uw auto.
