CNH cheaper auto steer

Although it bought the Raven precision farming business, CNH has decided to saddle up with CHC Nav from China for what it is calling its Fleet Pro solution, essentially a lower cost retrofit auto steer system. At Agritechnica it was doing a special offer price of €4,449 package with the 10-inch screen or €5,000 with the larger 12-inch display.Apart from being a bigger there are no performance or function differences between the two which can use an RTK signal. They are also ISObus ready. Interestingly this will not be a standalone tool, there are already plans afoot to integrate the bought in tech the CNH’s Field Ops platform so you can also use it for agronomic data. This ‘entry-level’ system is said to be targeted at the retrofit market and sits at a lower price than CNH’s own Raven system which we looked at in the 06/2024 issue.
