Lemken updates Rubin 10 disc harrows

A leading cutting roller is one of two new front options on the 2025 versions of the Lemken Rubin 10 (4.0m-7.0m) semi-mounted compact disc harrows.Joining the existing straw harrow option, the six blades on the cutting roller are said to be particularly useful for knocking down OSR and sunflower stubbles, slicing and shredding the stalks before the discs takes over. The helical shape of the cutting roller is said to work well, and the open design prevents blockages. The levelling tine section, the second new front tool, comes from the Heliodor compact disc harrow. On the Rubin it is used to prepare a seedbed, pressing large clods into the soil where they are cut and mixed by the discs.Other updates to the Rubin 10 TF include the 150mm longer bar spacing to 1.35m. This results in organic matter settling further behind the first row of discs, improving the cutting and mixing effect of the second row. The wider spacing also reduces the risk of blockages with large volumes of surface trash. The Rubin 10 is also available as a mounted 10 MR (rigid up to 4.0m) model, and a new option for these and the semi-mounted versions is a quick-change roller system. For more up-to-date farming news click here and subscribe now to profi and save 47%.Share this: TwitterFacebookRedditWhatsApp Share this: TwitterFacebookRedditWhatsApp Steven Vale
