CLAAS extends its forage harvester series.
CLAAS is extending its JAGUAR 900 forage harvester series still further to include two new JAGUAR 940 and 930 models to complete this high-performance series. The series now covers a wide range of power outputs from 412 to 830 HP (ECE R 24).
The two new forage harvesters are equipped as follows:
JAGUAR 940: V-8 Daimler Benz engine developing 453 HP (ECE R 24)
JAGUAR 930: R-6 Daimler Benz engine developing 412 HP (ECE R 24)

The machines are designed for professional applications where high effectiveness and daily output cannot be achieved by sheer horsepower alone, but in particular by perfectly co-ordinated harvest chains.

John Deere 764 HSD.
MOLINE, Illinois (March 12, 2008), John Deere has unveiled the first new machine form the construction industry has seen in decades, the 764 High-Speed Dozer (HSD), a unit that will give operators the ability to do more in less time.
This innovative rubber-tracked dozer combines the speed of a grader with the flotation of a crawler dozer. As a result, operators can perform grading and moderate dozing at about double the speed of a similarly sized crawler. They'll also have the ability to travel 18 mph across a job site without damaging.

The company Abemec B.V. in The Netherlands has recently delivered several Krone BIG X forage-harvesters. One of these Krone BIG X V8 forage-harvesters is equipped with the biggest tires which are available in The Netherlands for forage-harvesters, the Michelin XM 28 710/70-R42. This machine is delivered to the company Gebr. Raaijmakers in Best. The other machine is delivered to the company Verhoeven in Aarle Rixtel, both located into The Netherlands.

The Michelin XM 28 710/70R42 has the following dimensions: the width is 735 mm and the diameter is 2062 mm. Through the big dimensions of these tires the Krone BIG X forage-harvester has a very low soil-pressure and therefore much less damages on the grass-land or grass-structure.
